Introduce your students to this kinesthetic way of learning to count to
100, recognize numbers in print and read number words. I laminate these and use painter’s tape to secure these on my classroom floor to create a number path. Of course, I don’t display all 100 at one time. I choose a manageable number (10-15) and place them in an area where students have enough space to walk on them. I encourage students to say the numbers aloud as they step on each one. Students can also trace the numbers and number words with their fingers or a dry-erase marker. After each ten-count, there is a fun gesture/activity for students to do as a reward. They love doing these! This could also be a fun activity for rainy day indoor recess or you could take the laminated pages outside as well for fun learning on the playground! They are great for wall display as well. The possibilities are endless with this set!
