Happy 100th Day of School! I love celebrating this day in class with my students. It really is a fantastic accomplishment! My class and I create 100 Day T Shirt Collections. In stead of having my families send in 100 Day collections we create the collections right on our T Shirts. My kiddos bring in old or new t shirts for us to decorate with stamps and fabric markers.
Included in this file you will find my directions for making 100 Day T Shirts. You will get a letter home explaining the activity to your parents. Center Labels and idea cards for your students to use while decorating. Such as adding 100 tally marks or 100 smiles to their shirts.
You will also find directions for a 100 Day snack. I have my students munch on this snack during our 100 Day centers at the end of the day.
You will also find activities for One Hundred Hungry Ants by Elinor J. Pinczes. Students will collect strips of paper to create paper chains to decorate for the 100th Day! (We surprise our office staff with decorations every year:)
There is a book response sheet for the book We Read 100 Days of School. Students will create their own 100 after listening to this book.
This packet ends with a How Many is a Hundred song and 10's frame coloring sheet.
This packet will make your 100 day collections easy and fun for your students! Plus they love wearing their shirts all day long!
