Hispanic Heritage Interview
Record a video or audio interview with a person of Hispanic Heritage.
This person must be 18 years or older. The interview will be shared with the class. You should ask them 10 questions in your interview.
Here’s an example of some sample questions.
What is your name and age?
What is your family’s country of origin?
How long have you lived in the United States?
What is your role in the community?
Have you always known English and/or Spanish? How did you learn?
What are some of your greatest accomplishments in your life?
Have you always lived in the United States?
How has your life changed since you moved to the U.S.?
What advice do you have for students regarding the importance of studying hard and getting good grades?
Have you met many Hispanic people where you currently live now?
What motivated you or your family to come to the United States?
What are some things that make the Hispanic culture special?
Be sure to thank them for their time.
