Want to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in an engaging way? Try a library scavenger hunt! Your students will find biographies of Hispanic heroes and heroines who shaped our world.
In this scavenger hunt, your students will search for biographies of:
-Hernando de Soto
-Francisco Vazquez de Coronado
Your students will also be looking for books by these authors and illustrators:
-Diane De Anda
-Matt de la Pena
-Carmen Agra Deedy
-Carmen Lomas Garza
-Pam Munoz Ryan
-Alma Flor Ada
You don't have to have each of these titles in your library to use this scavenger hunt. Just make doubles of those that you DO have, and use this list to inform your collection development. Or have students use these cards to search an online database for Hispanic Heritage information.
This set is also part of my Mega Library Scavenger Hunt Bundle.
