In an effort to lift classes from the drudgery of standardized test preparation, I created a series of old-fashioned RPG games that sync up to each unit in our historical studies. Historica Fox is a young girl traveling through different eras with her Uncle Augustus, finding adventure and excitement...and your students will find their knowledge of the time period put to the test! Taking about fifteen minutes, this game is perfect for an in-school enrichment activity, "cool" homework, or as extra-credit. They should be appropriate for any student above the sixth-grade.
Episode VII focuses on Ancient Greece, particularly the cultures of Sparta, Athens, and the history of the Persian Wars.
The arrow keys are used for movement, while the Z,X, and C keys can be used to initiate actions and open the inventory.
