Raki's Rad Resources

Need an updated type of book report? This resource gives your students choices of 8 different unique ways to report about a historical fiction book they have read. Each option will work with any historical fiction book of any level, so this can easily be differentiated to meet the needs of your students. The report options are:

- A Classic Written Report

- A Diorama

- A Grandfather Clock Poster

- A Time Line Summary

- A Book Critique

- A Play Script

- A Venn Diagram Time Comparison

- A Letter to a Historical Figure

For each book report option, there is a student information sheet, guidance sheets (where necessary) and a grading rubric. There is also a generic student information sheet and a generic grading rubric if you would like to give your students free reign over their choices.

Other book reports you may consider are:

Online Book Reports

Mystery Book Reports

Informational or Non-Fiction Trade Book - Book Reports

Folktales and Fairy Tales - Book Reports
