Originally created for my history class, but could easily be modified for authors, characters, or even states or countries, etc.
The file includes several templates that can be used for students to create trading cards. They can be used as an assignment, for homework, or for extra credit. They can then be used to self-quiz or with a partner/team for a review.
There are four cards per sheet of paper, which can then be cut to make the "cards." Try printing on cardstock for a more durable card. You could even laminate and have students write on them with a dry-erase maker before posting them or passing around for student to write notes or add information.
These cards could even be reduced on a copier to make more fit on a page! Easy to modify in a Word document to fit your needs - either for the layout or the headings and sections.
In one of the included versions, I have students draw something that symbolizes the person or what the person might use in their profession. And there is plenty of room on these to write large enough that the info can easily be seen.
I originally created a single-sided version of the cards. However, I've added a front template, and additional templates for different formats and options. Just pick the format you want and print those pages only. They line up back to back without getting cut off, and should print without any cropping or being off-centered.
