This mini-unit examines a very important current event through the lens of history. Students are asked to examine, through primary sources (CCSS), the history of the Arab/Israeli conflict. Students are required to walk in the shoes of policy makers and reflect deeply on the actual implementation of policies. Students are asked to perform 1) thoughtful group work; 2) annotate deeply; 3) reflect meaningfully; and 4) evaluate two opposing sides with an open mind. The resources are excellent as well!
