Product Description
These are what I like to call "Historical Snapchats." I have created a design that looks much like a Snapchat filter, but in reference to a specific point in American history.

Students create an image that reflects what was going on in that point in history. For example, the "Give me liberty, or give me death!" filter might feature the Sons of Liberty during the Boston Tea Party.

Students can get creative with these! I like to give students a list of topics to help them focus. I typically require them to caption the image, and write a short summary of the event on the back using vocabulary terms specific to the unit. These Historical Snpachats can be used for any grade level.
