Product Description
This is a graphic organizer and exit slip intended for use in conjunction with History Alive 5th grade textbook chapters 11, 12, and 13. I did not write the chapter itself, just made this organizer to help organize student thoughts and notes as we study. They work great for social studies notebooks too, just cut them out and glue into the notebook.
Topic: Revolutionary War and the Declaration of Independence
I combined these three chapters to make the most efficient use of our class time. This one is a chart with the essential questions I wrote to guide students into seeking answers that directly relate to Kentucky Core Content. This also connects very well to the informational text CCSS for 5th grade.
The exit slip is a journal prompt and combines nicely with my Historical Writing Rubric
