This is a collaborative project that I do every year with the grade-level History teacher for a History Fair held by our school. Even without the History Fair, this project can be done in English and History classes on their own or in a cross-curriculum collaboration. I can see this also working well with other classes, such as science and art. Students do a research paper and then present their chosen historical figure in costume and character. This is a fun way for students to be creative and go in depth in their research of important people who are not just tabloid celebrities! The third page is a rubric for the presentation and contains two rubrics for two students on a single page. Sorry about the blank fourth page; I can't get rid of it!
