This is a set of 23 flashcards to help students study Cities, Strikes, and Suffrage at the turn of the 20th century.
Cards in this set include Napoleon III, Baron Haussmann, Paris, New York City, Urban Planning, Suburbs, Elisha Otis, Brooklyn Bridge, Woolworth Building, Central Park, Louis Pasteur, Trade Unions, Collective Bargaining, Strike, Matchgirls Strikes, Blacklists, Homestead Strike, Lockout, American Federation of Labor, Theodore Drieser, Susan B Anthony, Suffrage Movement, and Emmeline Pankhurst.
There are 2 versions of each card. One has blank backs for students to fill in themselves. The other has the information already filled in. Use the blank cards to help students practice good study habits and note taking. Use the pre-filled cards as normal flashcards.
I've also included mini-versions of the cards that you can print and use to play concentration! These cards have short clues to make it easier to play the game.
