This is a set of 22 flashcards to help students study imperialism from a World History perspective. Cards in this set include Imperialism, Factors Contributing to the New Imperialism, Social Darwinism, “The Sun Never Sets on the British Empire”, Sepoy Mutiny, Queen Victoria, Rudyard Kipling, David Livingstone, Henry Morton Stanley, Ferdinand de Lesseps, Suez Canal, Sa’id Pasha, Berlin Conference, King Leopold II, Rubber, Cecil Rhodes, Map of Colonized Africa, Map of Colonized Asia, Boxer Rebellion, Commodore Matthew Perry, Japanese Empire Building, and Indochina.
There are 2 versions of each card. One has blank backs for students to fill in themselves. The other has the information already filled in. Use the blank cards to help students practice good study habits and note taking. Use the pre-filled cards as normal flashcards.
I've also included mini-versions of the cards that you can print and use to play concentration! These cards have short clues to make it easier to play the game.
