A simple (original) history poem that sets the stage for two essential questions: How do we study history? and Why do we study history? The poem emphasizes how and why over when and where. There are 6 questions students must answer based on the poem (text dependent analysis). There are also two extension activities included for educators who are looking for a different way to present the importance of history to their students.
