This mini-research project is a great way to get your students excited about research! Everyone loves candy and this project is great to do near Halloween, Valentine’s Day, or really any time of the year!

I have included two different ways for your students to complete this project. Choose the way you want your students to show what they’ve learned OR you can use the different versions to modify the project for students who may need it.

First way...Students will record research answers on the“History of Candy” paper, create a poster with the information, and present information to the class.

2nd way...Students will record research answers on the“History of Candy” paper, then use this information to write a 4 paragraph paper, create a poster with the information, and present information to the class.

**A digital version is also now included for use with Google Classroom.**

With the digital version, you have the option to go 100% paperless.

Included in this file:

-Teacher information for how I use the project in my classroom

-Pictures of example projects

-Candy Choices

-Research Checklist

-Parent Letters

-Project To-Do Lists

-History of Candy Research Recording Sheet
