Description

Do your students know about the history behind one of the most “loved” celebrations?  Valentine’s Day is not just heart shaped candy and cards of love-It has a rich and super interesting history!  I created this resource so that your students could dive into the story of Valentine’s Day going all the way back to the time of ancient Rome!

Your students will be engaged and excited with all of the activities within this resource!  Your students will start with an introductory video on the history of Valentine’s Day.  They will then complete a comprehensive web quest where students will read about the story of Valentine’s Day and respond to some text dependant questions.  Finally, they will summarize their learning in a writing activity.

What’s Included

BOTH digital and paper versions of THREE highly engaging activities to use in your study of Valentine’s Day

- Video Notes (Link and file included!)

- History of Valentine’s Day WebQuest
