***Recently Updated***What happened on October 27th, 1787? Not sure? Well, the first of the Federalist Papers, which called for the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, was published. This is just a sample of what you are getting if you purchase this warm-up activity for your 6-12th History class!
I've compiled a school years' worth of historical events as they occurred on each day in history! Students will have access to short excerpts of information with some visuals provided! Students will also be have an opportunity to learn about historical events that might not have made it into the history books!
I have used this warm-up for the past ten years! I have the students copy down the three events in their notebooks as soon as they enter class. This gives me time to take attendance and get the class going as soon as they walk in. We talk about some of the events and then get started (takes about 5/6 minutes). This warm-up is a proven way to start off each day on the right foot! The information was extracted from the website infoplease.com It has taken me hours and hours to compile this information, and it can all be yours by purchasing this on teacherspayteachers! If you have any questions about how to use this please send me a message!
