PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product contains two passages about the history of the Olympic Games: the ancient games, and the modern day games. Both passages are an estimated Lexile Level of 580, but don't let that stop you from using them with your first, second, or third grade students. It will make a great whole group read aloud with activities to do in small groups afterwards. Each passage comes with its own set of questions about facts, vocabulary, and even their own opinion. Students can complete a T-Chart comparing the ancient games to the modern games and fill in a timeline about the history of the games. Encourage students to go back to the text to find answers with this fun product!

There are also two fun art sheets for students to design their own medal and flag!
