Did you know there is actually an Oreo Cookie Day?
Your students will enjoy reading and researching about the history of Oreo Cookies.
In this activity your students will read online web information, summarize it. Then they will sequence the history of Oreo Cookies as well as write facts and opinions and cause and effects. In this hyperdocs- I have included sensory words organizers as well as organizers to write about How I Eat an Oreo Cookie and organizers for persuasive writings with an Oreo theme. They will also create new variety of Oreo Cookies and create a commercial for it on Powtoon. This activity is wonderful for the 21st century classroom as your students will be excited and engaged as they practice identifying nonfiction facts and sequence key details in text. This HyperDocs is formatted so that your students have everything they will need in one place.
Activities include sharing ideas with classmates, reading online information, completing graphic organizers, summarizing text, creating a recording, and collaborating with classmates. Students will also create their own poster with facts about the history of Oreo Cookies.
