I used this lesson for a large class of Chinese learners 45 students, grade 5. The lesson target language is reflective of a unit from the Chinese textbooks used in Chinese state schools. The lesson is skills focused on reading and speaking with target vocabulary focused on hobbies.
The lesson has three handouts. A word search, a gap-fill activity and a speaking task.
It also includes a work search solution, visuals for audio drills and ppt animation for target words which the students have to guess.
The total lesson time is 45 minutes.
This lesson would also work as a filler lesson.
