This is a small group counseling lesson for anger management for first through third grade. Everyone gets angry and that is okay. How we handle our anger is the difference. This lesson helps students increase emotional awareness, focused on the impact of holding anger in and not managing it. It also begins to explore coping strategies that might work depending on how intense the anger is. This lesson continues the storm theme from previous lessons. This time, students are encouraged to avoid the storm versus walking right into it.
