What will the students make as their gift to take home this year?
A question I always struggled with year after year. After several pained, clandestine looks from parents as they were presented with yet another, “What is this supposed to be?” tree ornament, my new motto was: make something consumable.
I love making apple butter with my students...it is dairy, gluten, and nut free for those with allergies and it smells divine as it bubbles away all day in the corner of the classroom. Best of all you won’t have to stick it on a Christmas tree for the next 30 years.
This FREE product contains an easy apple butter crock pot recipe, a gingerbread men coloring sheet the students can color and use to decorate their gift bags, and directions on how pull together the needed supplies and ingredients.
Have a great holiday season!
