Let’s appreciate how holiday/seasonal traditions make us feel, and share those feelings with others. In this 45-minute Yoga lesson, students will share and explore favorite holiday traditions, like baking, skiing, and decorating the tree. Together, you’ll read Gingerbread Friends, by Jan Brett, and incorporate festive Yoga poses. The lesson can be taught by anybody (you don’t have to be a Yoga teacher), and the components can be easily broken down to be taught over the course of 5 days, making it convenient to fit into your classroom schedule. Also included in this product is a list of Gingerbread Friends poses, a gingerbread recipe, and a newsletter.
