Product Description
This resource includes two fun holiday activities.

Christmas activity:

Have fun designing Christmas stockings and ornaments for historical figures, Civil Rights icons, or favorite authors or characters! Design and justify design choices (colors, symbols, embellishments) using evidence gathered from class lecture, discussion, or research. Choose Christmas gifts appropriate for historical
figures, Civil Rights icons, authors or characters. Explain why gifts are appropriate by citing evidence from class discussion or readings.

This activity is appropriate for grades 5-12. I use it with my High School Civil Rights History and English students. It could also be used in a United States History or Art class. My students really enjoy this activity.

This resource includes six coloring sheets, three charts, three Christmas tree sheets, one gift-tag sheet, and one color connotation sheet.
