Each centers set includes:

*An overview of learning centers, with strategies for setting up in your classroom and directions for organizing each center

*Four holiday-themed centers signs

*Student directions for each center, as well as editable directions

*Four centers, including:

--Center 1: Color-by-symbol/ staff/ instrument worksheets: Students color the musical symbols, notes on the staff, or other musical picture to reveal a holiday-themed picture! Two versions are included with each set: One with the terms labeled on the worksheet, and one without. A key is also included. This center could work well for distance learning; simply send students the PDF, and they print and color!

--Center 2: Mystery image: In this fun center, students use Chromebooks, iPads, or the teacher computer to reveal a mystery image. Using Google Sheets, students either figure out how many sounds or beat are in a rhythm or rhythm pattern, or how many syllables are in a holiday-themed picture, to reveal mystery images; view the video preview for more details. Six-eight versions are included with each set: one-two for ta and ti-ti (quarter and eighth notes), one for quarter rest (or ta rest), one-two for tika-tika (sixteenth notes), one for half note, one for ti-tika (1 eighth/ 2 sixteenth), and one for tika-ti (2 sixteenth/ 1 eighth.) This center could work well for distance and/or blended learning!

--Center 3: Melodic poke cards: Students figure out the answer to a melodic question and "poke" the answer, then check their answers on the back! Seven versions are included: sol-mi, la, do, re, low la, low sol, and high do, as well as keys for each. Watch the video preview in the Halloween set for more details.

--Center 4: Composing cards: Students use holiday-themed cards to compose rhythm patterns. Several rhythms are included with each set; stick notation and standard notation are both included.
