Promote student responsibility and collaboration with this Holiday Party Committee idea!
Do you ever have those holiday celebrations where all of your students bring in TONS of snacks and you end up having plate fulls of candy, five different kinds of cupcakes, and after passing it all out, end up having no time for any activities? This will definitely put a stop to that!
Students are separated into committees to help plan for your Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine's Day parties. The students in these groups are only responsible for bringing in snacks and activities for their party. This will allow parents to only have to send in snacks for one party, rather than dealing with the cost of three parties throughout the year. Plus, the students (and possibly parents) plan EVERYTHING! Wouldn't it be great to take a little stress off the teacher!?
