Product Description
This collection of 13 familiar and easy-to-play holiday melodies will motivate beginning students to practice and share their developing skills during the winter holiday season. The notation is unique and flexible, as the clef is generic, the note names are in the note-heads, and although pitch is indicated by note placement, staff lines have been eliminated. This format allows students to focus on tone and technique and make music they may not be ready to read from the staff. It has been highly successful with beginning strings, band and recorder students. (Bowings are marked.) You can also use these arrangements with Boomwhackers and bells by having students highlight/color only the note(s) they are assigned to play.

These pieces are arranged in the keys of G, D, and Em. (If you need different keys, please send me a message.) The range is from D to E', but most have a range of less than an octave.

Away in a Manger
Hallelujah Chorus (theme from)
