### PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This value pack contains 5 worksheets for students to practice transformation. Each worksheet is described separately below and can be used for Christmas, Hanakkuh, and Kwanzaa celebrations;

Worksheet 1: Dilations
This worksheet gives students an opportunity to use dilations to create a Jewish Dreidel. Students should record each point from their dilation in the table and draw each figure on the grid provided. Every image is a dilation of the preimage. The center of dilation for each image is the origin.

Worksheet 2: Translations:
This worksheet gives students an opportunity to use translations to create a Kwanzaa candleholder called a Kinara and the seven candles called Mishumaa Saba. Students should record each point from their translations in the table and draw each figure on the grid provided.

Worksheet 3: Rotations
This worksheet gives students an opportunity to use rotations to create a Christmas present. After drawing the first gift they will then use a rotation to create additional gift images. The second tree is found by using a rotation of the first image. The third tree is found by using a rotation of the second image. The fourth tree is found by using a rotation of the third image. Students should record their points on the answer sheet and draw each figure on the grid provided.

Worksheet 4: Reflections
This worksheet gives students an opportunity to use reflections to create a Christmas star. After drawing the first star from the given points they will then use a reflection to create additional star image. The second star is found by reflecting the first image across the y axis. The third star is found by reflecting the second image across the x axis. The fourth star is found by reflecting across the y axis then reflecting across the line y=-x. Students should record each point in the table and draw each figure on the grid provided.

Worksheet 5:
This worksheet gives students and opportunity to use transformations to create a Christmas tree. After drawing the first tree they will then use a transformation or combination of transformations to create additional tree figures. The second tree is found by using a rotation of the first image. The third tree is found by using a reflection of the second image. The fourth tree is found by using a translation of the third image. The fifth image is a challenge image. It is a rotation, followed by a translation and dilation of the fourth image. Students should record their points on the answer sheet and draw each figure on the grid provided.
