All About It-students complete graphic organizers about all 6 winter holidays
-Schema, Questions, New Learning-students write about each holdiay as they learn about them
-My New Holiday-students create a new holiday and tell all about it
-Writing Page-students draw and write about the food, decorations, gifts, and activities of a holiday
Compare Them-students draw and write about the holidays and how they are the same and different

Flipbooks-Students always enjoy making these 2 page flipbooks! Each flipbook has them complete different activities so they stay engaged. :)
-Ramadan-students write about who, why, and how people celebrate Ramadan
-Compare Them-students tell how Ramadan and Eid are similar and different
-Hanukkah-students wirte about traditions, fun facts, and questions they have
-Kwanzaa-students write about who, when, why, and how people celebrate Kwanzaa
-Diwali-students draw and write about 4 facts they learned about Diwali
-Chinese New Year-students draw and write about 4 traditions of the holiday

-Any Holiday-students choose a holiday, draw pictures, and write about who, when, where, why, and how it is celebrated

Literacy Centers-)-These centers are perfect for keeping your little ones practicing important grammar and fluency skills during your holidays around the world unit! Each center comes in color and black/white and has a recording sheet for accountability.
-Hanukkah Where Is It-students find the digraph at the beginning and ending of words
-Holiday ABC Order-students put the various holiday words in alphabetical order
-Chinese New Year Noun Sort-students sort nouns by person, place, and thing
-Diwali Blends-students sort words by dr, tr, cr, and br words
