Description
This Cinco de Mayo STEM Activity is perfect for your Holidays Around the World unit! It’s a fun, creative, and engaging way to get your students designing and building during this time of year.
Challenge your students to design and build a maraca using an empty plastic bottle, toilet paper roll/cardboard tubes, colored paper, and rice grains. The maraca must stay intact despite vigorous shaking for at least one minute. You can also modify the task and include any other materials you would like students to use.
