This product is perfect for virtual lessons or can be completed in the classroom. Whether you are doing Christmas Around the World or Holidays Around the World these interactive lessons will thrill and excite your children. Go on a trip around the world to different countries to learn how they celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, and Kwanza in the month of December. These PowerPoint presentations include video clips to make them fun and engaging. Classroom management is built into the presentation so students stay on task. Questioning is also built in to build comprehension. These videos are short and simple, perfect for young learners. Each video has a writing page for students to write a nonfiction piece about what they learned from each country. Along with the videos children can do a short activity with each country. Directions and templates for each activity are included in the purchase. Below is the list of countries and activities for each one:

Brazil –watch a firework show (on smartboard)

England –write Christmas Cards

France –make mistletoe ornament (greenery and beads)

Germany –Gingerbread house (graham crackers)

Holland –Treasure Hunt (rhyming clues)

Israel –Make a paper Menorah or Star of David
