Sequencing in ABC order is one way of sorting words. Categorizing or sorting words is an excellent activity for children because it helps their brains develop. Sorting the same words in different ways is even more beneficial.

Fall & Halloween
As the alphabetizing skill progresses in difficulty on the various worksheets, the reading level of the words generally increases.
Each set includes:
→3 sorting to the 1st letter
→1 sorting to the 2nd letter
→1 sorting to the 3rd/4th letters
→Alphabet cue at top of 2 worksheets
→Optional word cards to be used for sorting in ABC order
→Blank worksheets and word cards for individualization
You can use the resources in several ways:
