Some assembly required. This product requires cutting and organizing events onto the timeline with your students to make a finished product. Or you can assemble it yourself.
This timeline contains 68 events to be placed on the timeline from 1933-1946 and is 15 pages long once glued together! It is longer than the lenght of 1 bulletin board. You can print on coloured paper or cardstock to create the visual effect you want. I printed mine to have sepia tones and laminated it for longer use.
I used this while reading novels about the Holocaust (in particular Daniel's Story by Carol Matas - see my store other Holocaust resource including a thematic unit and a powerpoint of images to work with Daniel's Story). Students added their own post-it notes to determine when the events in their readings were taking place to have a better understanding of the historical significant and allusions. We also tracked the events of Daniel's story in a similar manner which I used as a read aloud.
