This is an awesome resource to conduct literature circles based on the Holocaust in the classroom. In years past, I've always taught one novel to the entire class, and I soon realized that students LOVE learning about the Holocaust. Because there are so many great books about this beloved topic, I decided to try out literature circles so students can choose which book interests them the most while still learning about the same topic as a class.
I have spent numerous hours organizing, planning, and tweaking this unit so it works flawlessly! Literature circles can be overwhelming, but this unit will make it "easy and fun" for you and your students.
