This is an extremely fun activity that I use every year with my students when teaching the Holocaust. I give every student a timeline of Holocaust events, and we spend time going through each event so that they are familiar with them. I then split up the class into 3 different teams (red, blue, and green), and let them know that the next day we will do a team building activity. The next morning before class begins, I hang up the "clues" for all 3 teams throughout the school. A "clue" has a date and an event from the previous day's Holocaust timeline. Each team is then given a beginning clue when class starts. They then have to find out where the date that goes along with that clue has been hung. Once they find it, they have to write it down on their sheet. This prevents them from cheating and just saying they found it.
The team that finds all of the clues first is the winner. I even included pictures on most of the clues to make it easier for special ed. students. It takes some time to hang up the clues, but your students are going to LOVE this!!
*Since I was unable to bundle this with the other sheets that go along with this activity, I had to split them into 2 different products. The other product is called Holocaust Scavenger Hunt Timelines. I have adjusted the price on each product so that the total price comes out to the same amount of money as if you purchased them together. Sorry.
