This is a file of many of the activities I used for my unit on the Holocaust. This file includes the following:
Holocaust Literature Project instructions and grading info,
Project planning sheet to keep students on track,Jigsaw activity for lower level readers on why resistance was difficult for Jews during WWII, two-column notes for use during the unit including terms such as victim & oppressor, concentration camp & killing center, spiritual and armed resistance, etc. Also includes two sets of stations; one for lower level readers that focuses on vocabulary and supporting details, and another for higher level readers about four different groups and their experiences during the Holocaust(Jews in the Ghetto, Children, The Disabled, and Gypsies), which includes a lot of higher-level thinking activities. Links to the reading materials used in these activities are included.
