This r squared creation document what the students have learned during the entire chapter. I use it as a Formative Assessment to see where there weaknesses will be for the test. The materials covered in the assessment are standards based (even has released test questions) and are aligned to up to section 5.5 of Chapter 5 of the Holt Algebra textbook. Concepts covered are how to plot points on a Coordinate Plane and identify the quadrants, how to check if a point is a solution to a linear equation, how to graph a linear equation using a table with y isolated, how to put an equation in function form and graph a linear equation using a table with y not isolated, how to graph a horizontal and vertical line, how to find the x-intercept, y-intercept, and graph by intercepts, how to find the slope using a graph, how to find the slope using the Slope Formula, how to graph an equation using the slope and y-intercept when in slope-intercept form, how to put any equation into slope-intercept form and how to graph an equation using the slope and y-intercept when NOT in slope-intercept form, and how to check if a point is a solution to a linear inequality and how to graph a linear inequality.
