This is a home folder learning insert I created for my preschool/pre-k classroom available for you to print out and use.
We really encourage at home learning to help enhance in school learning. I created a learning page that can be laminated and taped to the back of their school folder. It is an editable pdf file - for teachers, you can add your name, classroom #, email address, etc. - for parents, you can add your name and phone number and email address or you can enter in your child's teacher/classroom information. On this learning page you will find the alphabet with uppercase and lowercase letters along with an image for each letter set. Numbers 1-20 with the word and counting dots. And 3-dimensional shapes. There are no written colors or 2-dimensional shapes but the document has ample colors throughout the images for you to use and the 3-D shapes have 2-D shapes in them that you can help build on. Example: pyramids have three triangles, a sphere looks like a circle shape, the cylinder has an oval shape on the top, etc.
On the other 2 pages of the file, you will find:
- Return these papers to school. (with spanish translation)
- Keep these papers at home. (with spanish translation)
For teachers, there are 5 strips per page for easier printing to include these on all your students folders so parents will know which papers need to stay home or what needs to be sent back to school.
