This is a bundle of printable take-home sheets for language practice. I find that they are a great resource for families – you can easily keep them informed of what you are working on in speech-language, and students will be able to practice carryover in different settings! Pages 4-5 are standard forms that you can send home with the practice sheets to explain the purpose of the “homework.” There are whole sheet and half-sheet page options, so that you can easily attach to a homework if you’d like! The packet also includes a worksheet for the following language skills:
Pages 6-7: Categories and Answer Key
Pages 8-9: Antonyms and Shades of Meaning and Answer Key
Pages 10-11: Plurals and Answer Key
Pages 12-13 : Past Tense and Answer Key
Pages 14-15: Wh- Questions and Answer Key
Each page includes language goals/ “I can” statements and Common Core connections so that parents can know the specific skills addressed. In addition, there are “homework” activities, as well as ideas for natural ways to practice the skill during home routines.
I hope this is a helpful tool in your speech room!
