Speech and Language Calendars (School Year Bundle)- $6.00

This pack was created for children to practice their speech and language skills throughout the school year. I have included five calendars for five different areas of communication: articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and functional/social communication. One calendar is included for each are for the following months; September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, and May.

The functional communication calendars cover social skills, play skills and using/learning basic vocabulary. The pragmatic calendars focus on topic maintenance, feelings, problem-solving and appropriate vs. inappropriate behavior. On each calendar, I recommend parents refer to the child’s IEP for specific sounds or goals they are currently working to master. I have also included a parent letter to explain the purpose of the calendars. You’ll notice that each calendar has similar, if not the same activities month to month and week to week. This was intentional to promote carryover and consistency with practice throughout the school year. Some skills will spiral back during the school year.

If students return their calendar (completed or even partially completed) at the beginning of the new month I give them a treat for their hard work. Happy practicing!

    Home Program Plan- FREE

I created a half-sheet form to fill out when creating a home program plan for a student. I simply checked the strategies/activities that were recommended for practice and then stapled several to the form. One of the materials I included were printable articulation cards (these are available in my TPT store). So, I have also included a single-page for parents that detailed instructions for flashcard activities. I hope these are helpful when sending home a home program for your students!

    Fluency Skills Brochure- FREE

The following brochure was created to send home to parents and caregivers to practice fluency skills. Please note this brochure works on conversational fluency skills, NOT reading fluency skills. The brochure has tips and tricks for parents as well as suggested fluency strategies. I would recommend discussing and choosing the specific strategies with your student and/or parent before sending the brochure home for practice. I hope it is helpful to use with your students!

    Speech and Language Home Practice-FREE

These were created to help save paper and copies when sending home practice for speech and language skills. I have included one page for articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and communication. On each page, I have included parent tips or information about the area of communication along with practice ideas/strategies. For the articulation practice, I would recommend attaching one of the word lists with the student’s specific speech sound. Also, the communication handout was created for students who use limited language and/or alternative means of communication.
