This Academic Portfolio is used as an easy way to document your homeschooling year. Simply download the file and print the pages. Insert them into sheet-protector-tabbed dividers and put them in a 3-ring binder. Once school starts, place your documentation behind the correct tab. At the end of the year, you will have all your child's paperwork in a nice, well-organized place!
Here are some examples I would use for each tab:
Attendance Calendar- I print a calendar in Microsoft Publisher and fill in the days we homeschool to keep a record of the 180+ days we do school and go on field trips.
Curriculum- I go to the publisher's website and print off the syllabus for each class/curriculum we use. I also use this section to put in a sheet about our current umbrella school that we use.
Report Cards- I have one that I can print from my umbrella school when I post grades, but I also make my own. You can see my report card here> https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Homeschool-Report-Card-3155425
Field Trips- Whenever we venture out on field trips, I take a ton of pictures. This is the section to put in pictures, postcards, programs from plays, etc. If I forgot to take pictures or grab other momentos, I've been known to throw receipts in here. Ha!!
Student Work- This is the area to display your child's best work including written papers, handwriting papers, novel studies, bible studies, etc.
I hope this portfolio is a big help to you this year! Thanks for looking!
