Using a black ink pen or felt-tip pen, complete each calendar with the correct dates. Each day that school is completed, lightly color in the dates of attendance with a colored pencil or by using a highlighter.
A color-coded system may also be used to differentiate between different types of school days such a field trips, co-ops, home attendance, dual credit classes, et cetera.
You may consider blacking out the days in which the student will not be in attendance and color coding the different semesters, trimesters, quarters, or terms.
Below each month, you may ponder the idea of writing the number of days the student attended school that month to make for easy addition and tracking.
These calendars are designed to be used July-June or January-December. Choose which way works best for your homeschool.
