Choose the matrix above that is most appropriate for each student. This will depend on whether the student is homeschooled year-round or for nine months out the school year. Two form options are offered for each situation.
Across the top row, write in the subject areas the student will be studying for an academic year. Down the left-hand column, write the months of the year the student will be in school.
In the white boxes (columns 2-7) give a general topic or theme of study. For example, you may have a subject area of English. In this subject area in the month of January, you might write “Romeo and Juliet.”
Boxes can be colored in or crossed-out when they are complete.
Print on duplicate or triplicate paper if copies need to be shared with legal officials. Or, just in case one copy gets lost! You may also consider retaining a photocopy or using carbon paper for these purposes.
