Need a way to keep students motivated and accountable for doing their homework? This simple punchcard helps students keep track of how many homeworks they have turned in. The card is also set up so that students receive a reward (something small) after every five homeworks.
I teach special education students in a resource room, so it can be difficult for me to assign homework and reward students for completing it. Class rewards are difficult because the make up of the students group changes depending on the day. The homework hero punch card is an easy way for me to keep track of what students are completing their homework. The punchcard is stored at the beginning of their homework notebook and is punched each Friday that students turn in their homework. Students each small/cheap prizes such as pencils, lunch with the teacher, etc. depending on the number of homeworks they complete.
