Are you looking for a way to motivate your students to complete homework each night? Are you sick of logs that never get filled out? Look no further!
These bookmarks serve as a fun motivation tool for elementary ages to complete homework. You can use them in addition or as an alternative to reading/homework logs.
Each bookmark comes with 4 rows of 4 dots, lettered M-Th (because who gives homework on Fridays??) that can track homework completion for up to a month!
My students love these! Print out on card stock. Using a hole punch, pop out one spot for each day that students complete their work! Another option is to laminate and make "punches" with wet erase markers so that you can re-use them each month. I prefer this method. I also can write things like 'ab' to indicate absences or draw lines for school breaks so that doesn't count against them.
As a further incentive, try offering a small reward for each week that homework is completed and a larger reward when the month is punched out!
