Have your students practice homographs in a fun, engaging way! Board game, game pieces, game cards, directions, and answer sheet included!

note, cone, cube, tube, use, flat, plan, trap, track, crab, and stand
The youngest student is the first player.
For each turn, the student chooses a game card, tells the others what card number it is, and reads the sentence out loud. Fill in the blank by choosing the correct answer from the choices on the board.
Another player will use the answer key to check the answer.
If the answer is correct, you get to move to that word (the closest one to where you currently are on the board).
If the answer is incorrect, you lose your turn.
Play continues until a player reaches the end. If time expires OR nobody can get to the last space, the player who has gone the farthest the fastest is the winner.
If a student lands on the green space with the bridge, he/she may choose to move forward by crossing the board. This only happens if the student LANDS on that space, not if they pass by it.
If a student lands on the yellow space with the slide, he/she must move backwards to the end of the slide. This only happens if the student LANDS on that space, not if they pass by it.
