Description
For the Reading Street 3rd Grade curriculum, one of the skills is homonyms (Unit 1, Week 1: When Charlie McButton Lost Power).
This is an activity that can be used in a center to practice homonyms.
The students can play the game in partners.
I also made a mini-poster defining homonym, homophone, and homograph.
The last page in this packet is a full sheet of the orange chevron. You can copy this onto the backs of the cards if you prefer that cards are not plain white. Sometimes my 3rd graders are sneaky and can peak at the backs when they are just plain white. : )
