There are 36 different homophone pairs included in this download.
Directions: Cut out all cards and laminate for additional durability. Each ice cream cone has one member of a homophone pair written on it. Each ice cream scoop contains a fill-in-the-blank sentence where a homophone is missing. Have students match the correct homophone to the appropriate sentence. For example, the word “bare” matches the sentence “I like to take off my shoes and put my ________ feet in the sand.” The word “bear” matches the sentence “I went camping and saw a ________ hibernating in its cave.”
I have also included a worksheet so that students can make their own homophone ice cream cones.
