The teacher should have all students stand up in a circle. Every student should be given a word card before they get in the circle. This is their assigned word for the activity. After every child has a homophone and has a place in the circle, the teacher can begin reading the sentences on the following slide. The student with the appropriate homophone should hold up their card so that the entire class can see which word fits. The teacher can also make up her own sentences. This is a great review for students to practice frequently confused words.
