Learning about homophones? Let your students practice identifying pears...whoops....I meant PAIRS of homophones!
During the hunt, students will find 15 different word cards with pairs of words on them. The words will either be synonyms, antonyms, or homophones. So, in order for students to do the hunt, they need to have been taught synonyms and antonyms, as well. Students must determine if each pair of words on the card are synonyms, antonyms, or homophones. They record their answers on the paper provided in this download.
I do the hunt whole class, but can be easily be placed at a literacy center.
